A heart-warming and insightful session featuring real-life stories from Presenters about how Haynes Manuals helped them tackle their first repairs, restore classic cars, or even launch careers in the automotive world.

A curated selection of questions which we put to people who knew John best. They’ll be sharing stories and memories of John Haynes both through the manuals and Museum.

A nostalgic and lively discussion on the legendary cars launched in the early 1980s. This session dives into the impact of iconic models on car culture, motorsport, and design.

Haynes Heritage Engineering Parade

Our classic car restoration team will be on hand to showcase some of the impressive projects they’ve worked on in a live running display around the Museum’s paddock. Learn about these iconic cars and more about the specialist restoration techniques the team undertake.

Panel discussion – The future of Classic Cars

A lively, thought-provoking panel discussion exploring the future of the classic car hobby. Industry experts will debate the major challenges and opportunities facing classic car ownership. From fuel availability and regulation to shifting cultural tastes. How can we ensure these icons remain relevant, cherished, and driven?

The Importance of Engaging Younger People in Heritage Motoring

Special Guest Speaker: Iain Tyrrell

Iain will be speaking about the need for more opportunities such as apprenticeships and raising awareness about the diverse careers and crafts within the heritage motoring industry.

Show awards

The show concludes with a set of special awards, recognising star cars from the show line up selected by the Museum’s panel of judges. Awards include Best Car in Show, Best Haynes Display Vehicle, Practical Classics Car of the Show and Best Club Display in Show.
