INTRODUCING THE JOHN HAYNES CLASSIC

On Sunday, 7th September 2025, Haynes Motor Museum will host the inaugural John Haynes Classic Car Show. 

 

This event honours John Haynes OBE, creator of the iconic Haynes Manual and founder of Haynes Motor Museum. Get ready for a spectacular celebration of motoring heritage, spread across the Museum's outdoor event arena.

 

Featuring an eclectic mix of timeless classics, unforgettable stories, and a vibrant atmosphere, it’s the perfect day out for motoring enthusiasts, families, and visitors of all ages.

SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

THE HAYNES MANUAL DISPLAY

A handpicked collection celebrating the cars and motorcycles that have been immortalised in the iconic Haynes Manuals across the globe.

A CAR CLUB ARENA

A Car Club Arena will provide a stunning backdrop for hundreds of veteran, vintage and classic cars and motorcycles.

A LIVE SHOW PADDOCK

The Paddock will host talks, debates, live music, and a special vehicle parade, bringing motoring history to life.

THE DISCOVERY ZONE

The Discovery Zone will provide workshops, demonstrations and interactive opportunities for adults and children alike.

HAYNES MOTOR MUSEUM

An opportunity to explore inside the Museum itself with a special curated display of vehicles all with their own story to tell.

HAYNES MOTOR MUSEUM'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY

This inaugural John Haynes Classic marks the 40th anniversary since John founded Haynes Motor Museum in July 1985 as a charity. This fundraising show will support the continuing work of the Museum: the ongoing preservation and conservation of the collection, and an ambitious education programme which aims to inspire the next generation of automotive enthusiasts and engineers.
