What is the John Haynes Classic Motor Show?

The John Haynes Classic Motor Show is a spectacular celebration of motoring heritage, spread across the Museum's outdoor event arena.

Featuring an eclectic mix of timeless classics, unforgettable stories, and a vibrant atmosphere, it’s the perfect day out for motoring enthusiasts, families, and visitors of all ages.

The events honours John Haynes OBE, creator of the iconic Haynes Manual and founder of Haynes Motor Museum.

The event starts at 10am and closes at 4pm.

Adult admission is £20, Child Admission is £9, Carers and Under 4s visit for free. Book before 17 April 2026 to benefit from the Early Bird discount. Tickets can be purchased here.

Parking for the event is in our dedicated event car park near the Museum site, please note, this is on grass. There will be directions and marshals on the day to guide you.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in all outdoor areas of the event. Assistance Dogs are allowed in all internal and external areas of the Museum. 

Where possible, dog owners should bring their Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK), Assistance Dogs International (ADI) or the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) identification book. Your dog should wear an appropriate tabard or harness, but this is not a requirement for entry.

You'll find water bowls for your four legged friends on the decking outside Cafe 750. If you need additional water please ask the team in the Cafe or at Reception.

All external waste bins can accommodate general litter and bagged dog waste.

Please do not leave your dog unattended at any time.

Toilet facilities will be available in different areas throughout the event. You’ll find clean, spacious baby changing facilities located near the main entrance of the Museum.

We aim to be fully user-friendly for visitors with access needs. Please note, the event is outdoors and some areas are on grass and uneven surfaces. Please click here for a quick guide to some to some of the facilities.

Disabled parking bays for blue badge holders are allocated upon arrival by event traffic staff.

A limited number of manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available to hire free of charge to registered disabled visitors. Pre-booking is advised by calling our team on 01963 440804

If you have a disability that restricts your ability to attend the show on your own, then a carer can be admitted free of charge to assist you.

Both cash and card will be accepted by traders on the day. Please note, there are no cash points on site.

The Museum will be open exclusively for John Haynes Classic attendees - available at a special discounted show price of £5 per ticket. As we're expecting a busy day, we recommend pre-booking your tickets and entry time slot to secure your visit and avoid disappointment. Tickets for the day can be booked here.
